Whilst a car is not essential, we would advise that if you do not mind driving in Spain that you do hire a car. It will give you the freedom to explore the area and for a little more than the taxi fare to and from the airport you can have a car for the week.

Even if you only use it to get to and from the airport you can garage it all week at the apartment.

There are lots of car hire Companies around and we are checking out the local companies right now.
